This conference aims at disseminating experiences and practices in Entrepreneurship Education providing a broad view on the topic covering the Pedagogical Perspectives, the Institutional Perspective, the Regional Perspective, and the Technology Perspectives.

To this end, we have an Organizing Commission that is responsible for managing the conference operations and a Scientific Commission and Advisory Board whose roles are defined below.

About Porto

Advisory Board

Mission: The Advisory Board has as its main mission evaluating and suggesting improvements to CEE in order to make it more relevant to the organizations and to the society. With this objective in mind, the Advisory Board should make comments to the actual conference contents and make its own evaluation of past events, and finally on the positioning of CEE as a pivot on the entrepreneurship training process while bridging the gap between the Enterprise world and the Education Institutions.

  • Abstract (4000 characters) submission deadline: July 1, 2019
  • Author notification: July 8, 2019
  • Submissions allowed in the following languages:
    • “Português”, “Castellano” or “English”.
  • Extended Abstract or Poster for the conference proceedings: July 20, 2019
    • The Extended Abstract for the conference proceedings should have the following structure: Introduction (4000 characters), Body (3×4000 characters), Conclusion (4000 characters), References (4000 characters), it is allowed the submission of one picture.
    • The poster abstract for the conference proceedings should have the following structure: Abstract (2×4000 characters) + References (4000 characters). The poster should as well be submitted along with this abstract as one pdf file in colour.
    • All this material for the Extended Abstract and Poster Abstract will be submitted online.

Call for Papers

We accept papers in Portuguese, Spanish and English.

For the CEE’2019 we accept works resulting from empirical or theoretical research, case studies or fieldwork on entrepreneurship education, and it is very important that they reflect the objective results obtained and their real impact. We want to address entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education in a comprehensive way, not specifically restricted to start-ups, but also to the development of high-impact projects, both in the public and private sectors, from its conception to implementation and assessment.

  • Pedagogical theories in entrepreneurship education
  • Methods and methodologies of entrepreneurship teaching;
  • Cases and practices in the teaching and learning entrepreneurship;
    • Experiences outside the classroom (e.g., practicums, mobility)

    • Project-based learning and skill assessment
    • Service-learning experiences in entrepreneurship learning
    • Promoting and assessing student engagement
  • Innovative materials and tools for teaching entrepreneurship

  • Entrepreneurial educational institutions, the model of education for entrepreneurship at the institutional level

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Cancellations schedule: The 7th of August is the limit for requesting cancellation with a refund. After this date no refund is applicable.
  • Calculations for refunds are as follows: The credit or debit card fee portion is not refundable in all cases. Refunds are always done through bank transfer. The costs involved in the bank transfer are also not refundable. A 15 euros processing fee is applicable. There are no reasons (including but not limited to illness, inability to travel, visa application rejection, travel restrictions etc) for delegate cancellation which make the above schedule of cancellations inapplicable.

The mission of the Scientific Commission

The Scientific Commission actively supports the organization commission in the implementation of paper review best practices, as well as in the selection of topics for discussion in the conference. The Scientific Commission will further support the process of Conference dissemination.
